Indian ink + a very nice twig that my classmate Joshua Lord picked out for me. He's a good man.
We had Martin in today as our model, who is always very nice to have as he always takes photos of the work when he is done. His enthusiasm is endearing and he resembles a Greek philosopher when his beard is grown out and that's pretty cool if you ask me.
Basic rotated pose, just done in indian ink with a twig! Pretty cool. Love the way indian ink dries, quink ink just doesn't dry in the same way I dunno. Feels wild. Ooh. Living it up.

Three different poses, sketched lightly with a pencil then tone added with a brush and ink with varying levels of water. Four or five layers, I think?? We then used the thinnest part of our twig to ink the outlines
Quite proud of the large one, could have used more tone though I think - it feels way too bright. Actually they all feel a bit bright, but I think this is the biggest offender.
