Project 8 - Jump In

This is the first part of our workshop with Elroy Simmons, who taught us traditional animation. Our task was to create an animation that can loop easily with a character jumping on screen and then leaving. I decided to go with a frog, because they're pretty simple to draw and don't require lots of detail. Plus they jump to move, so they fit the needs of the project pretty easily.
The problems with this animation were that the first frame was too far from the edge of the screen, making it appear as though the frog was simply appearing from nowhere. It also did not help that the frame was the frog going up, rather than down as though towards the end of a jump.

The edit of the first attempt was much more successful, as I removed the first frame and decided that the second frame (the frog moving down) should be the first frame. I also moved the animation to the left and looped it to have the frog start another jump towards the end of the screen.

This could still do with tweens. Currently I simply have key frames, so tweening would obviously make the animation a lot better than it currently is.
