Year 2 - Client Brief

Year 2's Animation Practice has given us a brief for a client. We were given the option to choose between the Royal Armouries, the NHS' LoveArts Festival or a. can. thing.

I was briefly interested in advertising the Royal Armouries due to the fact that during the brief we were given it was suggested that we visit a website regarding World War themed poetry and that was make our animation related to that. I thought that it would be an efficient way to get the job done as having poetry in front of me could act as a premade script and that I would simply have to create the imagery to accompany it.

However, the LoveArts brief intrigued me more. It was asked of us to create a short advert to help relieve the stigma attached to mental health and also to persuade people that creativity helps alleviate mental health. Because I know multiple people with varying mental health issues, I thought the project would be an easy thing for me to grasp.

The can people weren't there so we didn't get an in-depth brief. In all honesty I'm still not 100% sure I understand what they wanted us to do, so I think it's safe to say their projects are off the menu unfortunately.
